Dr Edwin Meyer, a professor of Physics at Baldwin Wallace College has become a master of the Sports Data Query Language (SDQL ©) and has used the SDQL to become a champion handicapper - beating all the "experts." He started posting his NBA selections on VegasInsider.com for the 2006-07 NBA season. There were 31 other professional handicappers on Vegas Insider and he beat them all, finishing #1 in net profit for the 2006-07 NBA regular season. In 2007-08. he finished #1 the NBA in net profit on guaranteed selections - again out of 31 other handicappers. In 2008 he started releasing baseball plays and finished #1 AGAIN in net profit over the regular season. Over the first five weeks of the 2008 NFL season, Professor Meyer is ranked #1 in NFL totals on Vegas Insider. When asked the secret to his success he replies, "There are a lot of people that know more about spots than me. What differentiates me is the ability to investigate historical data with the tremendous power, ease and speed via the Sports Data Query Language. Without any doubt in my mind, the sports handicapper of the future will be a master of SDQL ©.
